Miss Wimsey is Tracy Turnblad's geography teacher from the Hairspray (2007 film). She is well-known for giving Tracy detention for skipping school and doesn't like Tracy’s hair height because it keeps any student behind her from seeing the blackboard.
She is portrayed by Jayne Eastwood.
